A development group paid $9.84 million for a Margate property that's been approved for an apartment complex.

The 11.2-acre site at 787 S. State Road 7 was sold by 777 Properties Inc., managed by Michael Shooster. The buyer was BCH MF BTH Ill/Fort Lauderdale Preserve, a partnership between local developer Saul Perez and Dallas-based Trammel Crow Residential.
