Apartments Planned on Former American Express Campus

TM Real Estate has proposed the third and final phase of apartments on the former American Express campus in Plantation.

The Miami-based developer, through affiliate Plantation 25 LLC, filed a site plan with the city for Shalimar North. It's located on the 4.3-acre site at 8490 Cleary Blvd., on the corner of Pine Island Road.

The developer is seeking approval for 145 apartments in five stories, with 133 surface parking spaces and another 43 spaces in garages. That would include 19 workforce housing units for people making up to 120% of area median income in order to utilize the city's workforce housing density bonus…
